You may remember this post on Ken's blog that I made over a year-and-a-half ago, announcing that Saul Williams was recording an album with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. Well the wait is finally over; the The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardusthas been released TODAY!
Like the recent Radiohead album, Saul and Trent are distributing the new album online. It seems Trent was just waiting for his record contract to expire (which it did early last month) You have two choices: download it for free, or pay a measly $5 to support the artists, which is only a few pennies more than that venti soy white mocha you pick up every morning on your way to work. And the buzz will last much, much longer. I promise.
The album is amazing. I've been eagerly waiting for it to drop since Saul played some tracks for me and Clint in my car while we were aimlessly driving around Denver, one of my favorite memories since i've been involved in the Integral Movement. And you really can't beat Saul and Trent covering U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday"...!
